Meet deadlines, provide documentation, avoid downtime

You select a vehicle and see what needs to be done: calculated deadlines, pending work orders, and the documented condition. Waynova’s software brings these three elements which are otherwise stored in separate systems together and documents every workshop visit in an audit-proof manner in accordance with ECM Regulation (EU) 2019/779.
The system predicts wheel set wear and factors in delivery times. Plan the replacement instead of waiting for it to happen, and when the time comes to make an investment decision, use the maintenance data from your own fleet to support your case.
Rail Infrastructure

Every kilometer in view, every decision documented

Waynova’s software displays your rail network with pinpoint accuracy and associates each object with all available information: its condition, measurement data from inspections and test runs, and the complete maintenance history. Your colleagues can document defects directly on-site with photos and GPS coordinates, even in areas without network coverage.
Using this data, the system predicts future conditions and projects them five years ahead for tracks, turnouts, overhead lines, and signaling systems. For budget planning, you’ll have investment requirements mapped out for up to 30 years and can compare different options side by side instead of just describing them.
Revenue Protection

Recover Revenue in a Measurable Way

Your inspectors issue the notice on their existing device, on average in four minutes. TIPS checks the address against several continuously updated databases, because a notice that cannot be delivered renders the entire inspection useless. The app identifies repeat cases based on the history, even while the conversation is still in progress.
Back in the back office, the case continues through the appeals process, debt collection, and, if necessary, all the way to the final package of evidence for court. The analytics show you at which stages the risk increases.
Rail Yard Management

Railcar tracked, service billed, customer notified

Your loading points schedule delivery and pickup directly in the Rail Hub, specifying the track, type of freight, cargo, and time. This generates the switching order, and because the software documents every transaction, it also generates the billing: based on your stored contracts, including cancellations and credit memos.
Meanwhile, dispatchers and customers are working from the same information. The location of each car, its position in the train, and its cargo are visible at all times—which is especially important when handling hazardous materials. On the track yard, your locomotive shunt operators handle everything via an app, from train arrival checks and track occupancy to damaged cars.

Rail Transport Management

Planning, Scheduling, and Billing in a Single System

Plan train paths, locomotives, and personnel graphically in a single schedule. If you reschedule a service, the software immediately checks work hours, qualifications, and availability and flags the conflict instead of passing it on. If desired, an AI optimizer can generate the personnel schedule, including rest periods, qualifications, and automatically scheduled guest trips.
Your customer doesn’t need to call about this, because they can see the calculated arrival time in real time in Rail Hub. At the train, the app recognizes the car numbers, calculates the braking requirements, and provides the car list and braking sheet. The data for this is transmitted via TAF-TSI interfaces.
Hardware

Railcar Identification on the Track Instead of Manual Counting

Our AEI readers scan the RFID tags on the track and use that data to determine the train formation. Our stationary reader operates at speeds of up to 40 mph, with an antenna on each side to ensure that a missing or damaged tag does not prevent detection. The system uses the scan data to determine the train formation, even when trains are moving back and forth multiple times in the rail yard.
In areas without power, the solar-powered version operates independently and stores up to 256 days of data on the device. For handheld use, there are the ZION and ASPEN models; the latter also takes photos. The readers feed data into your existing yard management system, and you can find historical train formations and analyses in the portal. The devices are sourced from the North American market.
